Final phase of Biswa Ijtema ends

The pro-Saad faction of Tabligh Jamaat movement held their Akheri Munajat or final prayers at the Tongi Ijtema Ground, Gazipur on Sunday, bringing an end to the 58th annual session of Biswa Ijtema.

Followers of Maulana Saad took part in the third stage of Biswa Ijtema from 14-16 February.

During 31 January-5 February, the followers of Maulana Jubaer took part in the first and second stages.

Maulana Yusuf Bin Saad, eldest son of Delhi-based Maulana Saad, conducted the nearly half-an-hour final prayers on Sunday.

In his call, devotees prayed for the peace of prosperity of Muslims all over the world and called for every Muslim to unite under one banner.

Nearly 1,600 foreign Muslims from 68 countries as well as hundreds of thousands of devotees from Bangladesh took part in the final prayers.
